Desert Drive Academy is a school of the Sahara, founded by Ali Oubassidi to transmit — behind the wheel, in the reading of the desert, in nomadic life — what is learned nowhere else. Three official programs, each designed for a clear discipline, taught in the dunes of Merzouga.

The ideal program for women's rallies, orientation rallies and every competition where precision matters more than speed. Map reading, compass use, distance calculation, traditional navigation, foundational off-road driving, vehicle safety and the first techniques of dune crossing.

Reading the Dunes & Desert Crossing.
Open to 4x4, SSV, buggy, motorcycles and quads. Read the dunes, understand terrain, anticipate hazards, cross obstacles, adapt driving to the vehicle and move through the desert safely while respecting the Saharan environment. A truly instinctive reading of the terrain — essential for any autonomous crossing or rally preparation.
